Web comic disclaimer

So I have been thinking about the title of my new comic and its premiss thinking that there are people out there who may take there meaning wrong... Don't! The things I write and draw in this strip aren't a direct visual of any specific place or people, any similarities is simply coincidence. Now that has been said what I do write is directly influenced by not only my experiences in the "Zoo culture" but from my friends and colleagues some of whom have been working in this field longer than I have been alive. So the title of my comic strip. Where does it come from? My wife who has been in the business longer than I have has her moments of visionary clarity of thinking and will frequently open her mouth to utter those things without thinking ( her unfiltered honesty is part of why I love her so much, a constant source of inspiration for my devious mind). She did once to a particularly annoying zoo guest and it epitomizes our world and business. She and another keeper were having an intense day, were short handed and having to deal with one of those guests who just couldn't be pleased. McCall being the kind of person who typically has little patience for that very pointedly told the man "You're lucky we're even open". It just sums up our world perfectly. We work in a guest experience business where the customer is always right but we are human and we all have bad days. So please enjoy hopefully it makes you laugh every once in awhile. And tell your friends.

WEB COMIC

I'm starting a web comic, it's called "You're lucky we're even open". Please help make it popular, get people to follow it! This first one is a test and I promise the art will be better as well as the humor. Thanks!

Tattoo

This is the centerpiece for my new tattoo. The skull will be on the area between my chest and shoulder and it will spread into a sleeve.
